Dr. Collins is a passionate advocate for patient empowerment, driven by personal experience from losing both her parents at a young age due to medical negligence.
Committed to attentive care, she meticulously listens to her patients' concerns, recognizing that every detail can contribute to a more accurate diagnosis. She prioritizes staying updated with the latest studies and literature in her field to offer cutting-edge information to her patients.
After attending nursing school, Dr. Collins initially ventured into alternative and natural medicine as a midwife, delivering numerous babies and providing comprehensive maternal and pediatric care. She has dedicated over 40 years to practicing classical
homeopathy and nearly 30 years to acupuncture.
Dr. Collins holds a BS in Biology and earned her degree in Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, now known as Sonoran University of Health Sciences.
After graduating in 1996, she interned with Dr. Farra Swan, focusing on births and women's health. During this time, she also served as faculty and adjunct faculty at two integrative medical schools and at the Phoenix Institute of Herbal
Medicine and Acupuncture.
Additionally, Dr. Collins completed a rotation in Cardiology at Mesa General Hospital and has maintained a family practice in both Phoenix, AZ,
and San Diego, CA.
Dissatisfied by the limitations of conventional medicine, Dr. Collins blends traditional medical practices with more esoteric healing methods.
Beyond her medical career, Dr. Collins has a lifelong passion for horses and has competed in various disciplines. Currently, she cherishes time with her children, grandchildren, dogs, and her garden.
